(no anxiety, overthinking or self doubt included).

  • Hey there, I'm Amelia. I've been exactly where you are.

Spending hours agonizing over plays, librettos, and (dare I say it) monologue books. Wondering what would be a best fit for me, but also not something that everyone else would be doing, too.

I have done what so many actors do:

Sit at the library or Barnes and Noble and flip through countless scripts to see if there were 1.) any characters that fit me, and 2.) did they have any good monologues?

I have also spend HOURS OF MY LIFE scrolling the internet trying to find Actors that have a similar look to me to determine what I should be doing for *my* headshots.

And resumes - ugh, there are so many different formats out there! What do I list? What credits to include? Do I need to include this person, that company, what skills, ect. I only have ONE PAGE here people, what do I list on it that tells you all about me?!?

But the reality is: There is only one of you.

So you want your audition package to reflect who YOU are and what you can bring to the project.

Most acting coaches will help you get confident on monologues and songs for auditions. But that’s not the only thing that is important for your career.
  • So I'm here to make sure you -

    > Understand yourself as an Actor and what you want to audition for.

    > Don’t waste your time auditioning for shows that aren’t right for you.

    > Find audition material that reflects your strengths and versatility so you never have to try to rush prep a new piece before a big audition

    > Learn how to mix and match your audition pieces for a variety of auditions based on your goals.

    > Show up confidently in the room to get you the CALLBACK you need to book the gig

    > Get off the hamster wheel of audition anxiety and monologue self-doubt

…SO YOU CAN BUILD THE ACTING CAREER YOU ARE CRAVING.
  • Audition Prep Program -

"I was that kid in theatre who was around toxic environments for too long and it really negatively affected me. I was focusing more energy on being the visual people wanted on stage. I thought I'd have to step all over others to get where I wanted to go, and that having friends in the industry was impossible - they aren't friends, they are COMPETITION.

Amelia encouraged me to unlearn all that. That because that's the way it is currently, doesn't mean it's right and doesn't mean that it has to be. She is actively working on changing this sort of environment and I'm grateful she is. She helped me find the joy in acting and helped me feel empowered in my career." - Stefani T.

Terms & Conditions
The Morse Actors Studio Terms Policies

These are the policies and procedures outlined by The Morse Actors Studio (TMAS). By reading and signing you are agreeing to abide by them.

Attendance Policy -

Students are expected to come fully prepared to work. This means, but is not limited to having done a full vocal and physical warm-up prior to the workshop/class/coaching session. Having all of their materials with them (copy of monologue and or script, pencil, paper or device for taking notes, water bottle, etc), having their lines completely memorized, have read the play the monologue/scene is from, etc. These are important because they add to the understanding of the student and teacher/coach to do their best work possible.

Students need to arrive promptly 10 minutes prior to coaching session. That way time is not wasted settling in to the space.

Students who are more than 10 minutes late may have their session cancelled or not allowed to participate at the discretion of the teacher/coach.

Payments -

Payment for any workshop, class, or private coaching session given by The Morse Actors Studio must be paid in full and in advance. After payment is received you will receive an electronic confirmation within 24 hours of receiving it.

General Policies -

TMAS has a zero tolerance policy on harassment of any kind. Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and can lead to the dismissal of the student without a refund for the workshop/class/coaching session.

Prior to entering the space please turn off all electronic and noise making devices as they can cause a distraction to the work being done.

No food or drink except for water in a secure container is allowed in the space.

As a general rule we are guests in the areas where TMAS presents workshops/classes/coaching sessions and are required to follow their rules as well.

Please dress appropriately to what the workshop/class/coaching session stipulates.

Cancellation Policies -

There are no refunds given for any reason. If you are unable to attend a workshop/class/coaching session for any reason you must contact TMAS prior to the event in order for you to get a credit. Your credit may only go towards what you originally paid for and has to be used within 6 months of the date of the original event you sign up for.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a private coaching session, this must be done prior to the date and time of the coaching session. A makeup session is allowed once, after that the student forfeits that particular session and no refund or any other makeups will be given.
