Welcome to the Morse Actors Studio!
The place where actors come to ditch the overwhelm and insecurity and rediscover your confidence and badassery.
Your most special skill isn’t the dialect you’ve mastered or 12 years of tap.
Your most unique special skill is YOU.
Hey. I’m Amelia, fellow actor, MFA and Coach.
I help actors like you step into their most authentic self so you can stop wasting your precious time and money preparing the wrong material and auditioning for the wrong projects.
I understand what it’s like to have big dreams and think the key to ‘making it’ is to simply keep showing up for every open call hoping that the monologue you learned 8 years ago will get you a callback.
Most training programs teach you the craft but don’t have the bandwidth to help you truly understand what material will help you shine and get the kind of attention you want.
That’s where I come in.
I’m here to take a highly personalized approach to really get to know you beyond your resume and ‘type.’
Together, we will discover what makes you stand out, what roles you are built to play, and craft the perfect packages to land them.
The Morse Actors Studio Policies These are the policies and procedures outlined by The Morse Actors Studio (TMAS). By reading and signing you are agreeing to abide by them. Attendance Policy - Students are expected to come fully prepared to work. This means, but is not limited to having done a full vocal and physical warm-up prior to the workshop/class/coaching session. Having all of their materials with them (copy of monologue and or script, pencil, paper or device for taking notes, water bottle, etc), having their lines completely memorized, have read the play the monologue/scene is from, etc. These are important because they add to the understanding of the student and teacher/coach to do their best work possible. Students need to arrive promptly 10 minutes prior to coaching session. That way time is not wasted settling in to the space. Students who are more than 10 minutes late may have their session cancelled or not allowed to participate at the discretion of the teacher/coach. Payments - Payment for any workshop, class, or private coaching session given by The Morse Actors Studio must be paid in full and in advance. After payment is received you will receive an electronic confirmation within 24 hours of receiving it. Private Coaching Session(s) - After payment is received for a private coaching session we will reach out within 48 hours to schedule your session(s). It is helpful if you email us with any specific dates and times you have in mind, but it is not required. We are available for private coaching Monday - Friday after 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. General Policies - TMAS has a zero tolerance policy on harassment of any kind. Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and can lead to the dismissal of the student without a refund for the workshop/class/coaching session. Prior to entering the space please turn off all electronic and noise making devices as they can cause a distraction to the work being done. No food or drink except for water in a secure container is allowed in the space. As a general rule we are guests in the areas where TMAS presents workshops/classes/coaching sessions and are required to follow their rules as well. Please dress appropriately to what the workshop/class/coaching session stipulates. Cancellation Policies - There are no refunds given for any reason. If you are unable to attend a workshop/class/coaching session for any reason you must contact TMAS prior to the event in order for you to get a credit. Your credit may only go towards what you originally paid for and has to be used within 6 months of the date of the original event you sign up for. If you need to cancel or reschedule a private coaching session, this must be done prior to the date and time of the coaching session. A makeup session is allowed once, after that the student forfeits that particular session and no refund or any other makeups will be given.
